Voluntary Benefits
In the past voluntary benefits have been heavily marketed to employers because they are no cost to the employer. Unfortunately, this has led to a less than stellar approach to the coordination of existing benefits, plans offered, education and service. Employers and employees alike are unclear about benefits of the products and are generally frustrated with follow up services. We know that a “one size fits all” solution does not apply. The optimum solution is a combination of analysis of existing plans, product selection and integrated processes.
To determine the best solution, we begin with an analysis of your current benefit plans and your long term strategy. We look for opportunities to reduce costs by combining employer funded and voluntary benefits. As a broker, we can match the products from a variety of carriers that would best meet your needs.
Once the plan designs are determined, the employee communication packages are developed. We believe that employees should understand how the combination of benefits can best meet their individual needs. We provide a variety of education resources that are printed and available electronically. We use a variety of enrollment platforms to facilitate enrollment and changes.
Support and service is a key to an effective program, and at IBD we stay on the forefront of processes and technologies that streamline and enhance our partnership with you. Our clients are provided a web based portal for easy to retrieve information, toll free numbers to our call center and a dedicated account manager.
